Begin by running a length of 4mm vacuum hose from the nipple on the WGA to the nipple on the compressor discharge tube("J" tube). Remove the cotter pin that holds the actutator rod onto the wastegate's pivot arm. Rotate the turnbuckle end of the actuator rod inward, which effectively shortens its overall length, placing more spring pressure on the wastgetate's flapper valve. Start off by giving it three complete 360* rotations. Try this and report back.
how should the eyelid (turnbuckle) be set? showing no treads?Yesterday when I installed the WGA I had only to slide in the eyelid to the flapper and the flappler was open and not building boost after that I adjusted the eyelid and I was able to boost to 10 psi no more...
