Clutch Noise

Well, i just bought my first evo!
Sadly, it has a weird noise to it... Sounds like its by the tranny.

Heres the situation:
When i push the clutch down, the noise goes completely away.
When i let the clutch up its back, it sounds kinda like somethings loose inside the tranny like a chattering.
Im just curious if its because theirs an aftermarket clutch put in it?
I read that the clutch may not be fully disengaging? Could that be the problem.
I just need some help

It also dies sometimes, but i think i just need a tune... Ill worry about that after i figure this out!
Thanks
Also, i used the search

What kind of clutch is in there? Might be the throw out bearing going out.

My Evo and a few of my friend's Evos have the same noise (all on stock clutches). I don't think it's anything serious. How does the clutch feel? Not slipping or anything? If not, I wouldn't and I personally don't really worry about it. If your tranny does end up breaking, send it to shep.

Congrats on the new Evo btw.

The only thing this car does, is when im rollin to a stop, besides waiting for a complete stop. I push the clutch all the way in and try to put it into first gear and it grinds.. Normal? I went from FWD to AWD im not quiet sure about these trannies:/

So while the car is still rolling, you push the clutch and shift into first? Shouldn't do that, just put it in neutral, and shift once you hit full stock.

Yea don't shift into first while rolling, the tranny doesn't like that. It shouldn't necessarily grind (but possible), but better not to do that.

This noise is normal for the clutch that is in my car.
The grinding in 1st gear is from me, going from a fwd car to an awd car (lol...)
Just needed time adjusting myself and learning the car.

No more grinding.
And my friend also had this clutch in his evo and he said its normal for that specific clutch.
(gay its annoying.. lol)
