looks to be a stock 8 BOV (plastic).

Before I spend any money I want to make sure.

It is a 8 BOV.

 

that is not a IX bov. the IX bov is metal. that one is plastic. the evo 8 is also plastic

 

Looks like my old plastic 8 BOV i wouldn't get it not unless they can prove its metal and painted black.

 

Just wanted to make sure. I had my stock 8 BOV for about 5 minutes when I got the car 4 years ago. Haven't seen one since.

When I didn't see the gold/bronze top I knew it wasn't a 9....just double checking.

Perhaps it is an 8 bov... I bought it off of a guy from this forum that told me it was a IX bov. Regardless I've boosted 20 psi daily on this bov, and it hasn't let me down for 2 years straight.

Small interwebz huh? Let's call it an 8 bov as that seems to be the concensus.

 

LOL didn't even know ya were on here.

It's cool man. I gotta get way more than 20psi, which the 8's BOV won't do.

 

Should hold a little more than that with the stop leak kit.
