The Canister tip (the titanium tip) is attached to the actual canister which is attached to the silencer. All you need is a hex key (allen key) to remove it. Once you remove the silencer, you will need to find your own support for the tip because the silencer holds the the tip in place.

I honestly thought the exhaust was way too loud, so I put the silencer back in. Be prepared to have a different feel to the car once you take the silencer off.

I mob with the Comp TiC with no silencer...it's loud, but i like for the time being. if you call greddy, theyll send you some nuts but you're better off just going to the hardware store and picking them up.

No need to drill it out. I have the same exhaust and run it w/out the silencer. It's not too loud, and you'll definitely want it out if you care about the power loss. Just use an allen wrench to remove it. You'll need to get some some new nuts to hold it on since they welded the old ones onto the silencer.

I just went to ACE hardware and purchased 3 nuts that threaded onto the allen bolts. Got 3 of them for $1.50... problem solved
