Just now, when i started driving it felt that my car is so slow in all gears and the transmission is so much easier to shift ( so smooth ) I am suspecting clutch slipping AGAIN... because i had it a month ago and got it replaced with transmission housing repaired. The problem feels the same, but the car isn't AS slow .. is there anything i can do myself to check the car up to see whats the problem? I smelled clutch smell once in the whole month when i accidently pushed too much gas while stepping on clutch, but never really abused.

 

In my RSX, i looked for clutch slip by shifting into the drive gear, when at a lower speed (30,35 mph), and then trying to stomp the gas. When i did have slip, my RPM would pop up without a corresponding increase in speed.

Wont tell you if other parts of the clutch are messed up though.
