Schooling on MAP Sensor, and Boost Controller, please.

Ok, so along with my parts suggestion thread, I am looking to upgrade the MAP Sensor to a 3 bar or that Omni 4 bar plug/play one. I have been looking and looking, and understand a little about the "Closed boost" system on the evo. If I want to run higher boost(boost controller), and monitor boost better(MAP SENSOR), will the stock boost control unit be able to hold the boost better with the MAP sensor. Therefor do I need to upgarde the boost controller?

Some of the threads I read about this subject are kinda confusing. Is the stock evo boost control up to the challenge of higher boost with a better sensor, or is it still needed to do both upgrades, one, one over the other?

Thanks in advance if this has been covered a billian times. Thank you for taking the time, and please post a sticky to this info if there is one.

Thanks in advance.

Ok....hmmmm.....

No one understands how the MAP sensor and the Boost Solenioid work together?

When I upgrade the Boost Controller, does it come with a new solenoid. In essence am I raplacing the Stock Solenoid with the new boost controller?

Has anyone worked with the 3 Bar or 4 Bar units, that can tell me anything else they did or di not mod when upgrading that unit. I am only primarly speaking about the boost system and the control of the turbo. Don't need to know that you upgraded cams, or other parts.

Has anyone bought the the 3 bar or 4 bar, and left everthing else stock, and had succes with higher boost and control?

Thanks in advance again.
