Help Question: Evo ACD lights all on. Wheel speed sensor??
Hey guys, just put a clutch in a 2006 evo. had to crack the line for the transfer case, but we blead it ( by turning key on, pressing and holding gas pedal while i could hear the pump run, then cracking the bleeder before he lifted up on the pedal) and its a steady stream of fluid coming out, no air.
all 3 acd lights are lit, they are off when you start the vehicle but come on after a few minutes and stay on. i have a scanner at a friends place, but the card is only for up to a 2005 evo. i ran the scanner anyways and it showed a code " 11- RF wheel sensor circuit open/ short". should i trust this code, seeing as the scanner thinks its a 2005? and if the pump wasnt working properly i would have got a code right?
visibly, i can see nothing wrong with the wires around where it goes into the knuckle, but i lose the wires when they go behind the fender. where are these wires on the other end??? transmission? ecu? or could the sensor just be bad? if so, do i just splice into the existing wire and put a new sensor on, or does it need to be wired all the way to the other side?
i checked the fusable links on the positive wire to the battery, because i saw some had problems, but mine is fine.
ANY HELP IS VERY APPRECIATED!!
