Spark Plug Ceramic Broke Off

Spark Plug Ceramic Broke Off

So I was Changing the spark plugs and as I was taking one of them out some of the ceramic broke off and fell in (A picture is below). I'm not sure why this happened or what to do. Any help would be appreciated!

it just broke. it was maybe in the tool at a odd angle or dropped at one point. it needs replacing though. as for the piece in the cylinder you can buy this tool that looks like a long rod with fingers on the end to grab things. that could work. its a craftsman tool.

you don't think it could have fallen into the combustion chamber?

thats where i though you where hinting at? but if your not sure, yes it could have fallen into the chamber. you can look inside with a light. i wouldnt start the car untill you are def. that it isn't in there.

do not try to suck it out it happened to me you think you get it all but you dont i even looked with a bore scope take the head off ifyou want to save your motor. i had to build my motor because it scored up the cyl walls please do not evenstart it take your head off.
