Hi everyon I was wondering to see if what are the good and bad compression number on evo 8. after doing a compression test on the car by removing the spark plugs, these are the number that I got on my Evo8. well, I did it twice the first time the engine was HOT and the second time I waited for about 30 mins and did it again, and these are the numbers. please if you know the limits please write them here since they are going to help me a lot because im having boost problem and I wanna see if my engine is ok or not thanks.

here we go;

HOT:
1) 160
2) 170
3) 165
4) 170

Second Try 30 mins after:
1) 155
2) 165
3) 160
4) 165

 

Those #s are fine...Definitely not your boost issue...

 

Looks good to me.

I just did a check not to long ago when my car was relatively cool, and got 155 to 160 across the board.
