TX Tuning Dyno Results

Hi guys,
Here are some of the dyno results from this past weekends tuning trip to Texas. All the dyno results are from the AWD Dynojet at Turbochargers.com. Being TX, ambient temps were in the mid to high 90s with virtually no ventilation in the dyno room

Wow!!

What kind of boost are these cars running? And what kind of modifications? Even so, they are at such conservative a/f ratios!

Funny Shiv, I was just about to post the same thing. One thing you might have noticed is how close the Stage 1 customers are in performance. Evo Rosso (me), SouthTXEvo (Armando) and sanantone are very close when you graph them together. The temp was 95F with 29.88in-Hg and 75% humidity. Unfortunately the dyno didn't have a monitor for collecting boost data. In the case of my car I think the peak was about 21psi dropping to 18psi. (Shiv does that sound right?) I need to get a boost gauge ASAP...

Lewayne's Stage 1 vs. his car, stock, run earlier that morning before the installation of the ehaust, camgears and XEDE. With the Stage 1 installed, his car was only running 18psi peak tapering down to 15psi by redline-- 2-3psi lower than most Stage 1 cars.

Why are we using STD corrections? I thought SAE was preferred? Did I miss the memo?
Irregardless the results look pretty good, enjoy!

The first car that was test ended up with STD corrections so we stuck with it for the rest of the day. I rarely use Dynojets so I wasn't aware that there was a correction of choice. How does one correct a dynojet? I know... tear it apart and convert it to a Dyno Dynamics chassis dyno

cheers,
shiv

My dyno reads a lot lower. Typically, 300WHP on an AWD Dynojet (or a AWD Dynapack) is around 250-255WHP on our in-house AWD Dyno Dynamics Dyno. One reason I go on tuning trips, besides to test/refine baseline maps, is to show what kind of #s the kits make in the conditions and terms that most people are used to seeing.

Cheers,
shiv

I just want to point everyone to my Dave dyno chart with a Buschur system in comparison to a true stage 1 car. Lets say the difference is pretty substantial! Please dont say Shiv favors his system over the Buschur - Shiv and I have delt with each other for a couple of years now and tried his best to get it up there

Oh you can just chuck that up to the diffrences between EVO stock for stock and Mod for Mod.

I'm more then Sure Shiv would pry as much power as he could from any person he is tuning.

Dave's Exhaust makes power just like any ones on the market with a cat less 3in straight throw muffler.
