turbo timer install?!

when i was installing my turbo timer... alright so i installed the way according to directions turbo timer is working. when i was going to put the plastic cover for the steering collum i bumped the key sense switch (previous owner did the same i believe had a rubber band so i put it back together and taped it and for more security i put another rubber band on it. put all the plastic back on and went to start it..it cranks but it wont turn over. not battery anything like that... so i tried again and i noticed the little green car with a key in it appear on the instrument pannle ( from using a not programed key) well it was the same key i had since i got the car. So i took everything apart again thinking maybe i didnt hook a connector i disconnected or maybe one came loose when i was putting everything back together nope... so i just checked all the connections by taking them apart and connecting them back together dumb *** i was forgot to disconnect the battery when i was doing it and my alarm went off when i disconnected the key sensor connector( i believe the light to it as well is in the connector) so i hurried up and disconnected the battery to turn it off bc nothing i tried would stop the horn from going off. another note when the alarm went off it wasnt normal the lights didnt blink and the horn didnt go on and off it was a constant blair of both low and high horns and all the side markers and turn signals just stayed on constant as well... if you have any ideas why this is happening i owuld greatly appreciate it. dont really want to take it to the dealer bc it is 51 miles away one way and would be a decent tow
