Hi guys.

HOw much of a difference will i get if I upgrade my HKS drop-in into a K&N cone?

You think its worth it, or shall I use the money for another mod?

i never knew HKS made a "drop-in" filter for our car

as far as the cone set up, you may notice a bit of stalling without a/f mngt, but a little more power and quicker spool...

lol that makes a world of diffrence! = ) , i think you will get more horsepower with the system that brings in the most cold air, like on the evo 8 short ram intakes actualy make you lose hp cause you draw in to much hot air! i switched back to the factory box and put a k&n drop in , in it and i am very pleased

Would that make much of a difference? If im not mistaken, the evo2 and 8's stock intake are position in the same way - just opposite sides of the engine bay.

Your stock intake box is behind the battery, with the intake port beside the bat, right?
