O2 questions..

I just installed a new o2 housing, and now for some reason my boost gauge is reading boost up to 29 psi. I am a little worried about driving it now. Can anyone think of a reason why it would do this? Also, How much boost can the stock engine handle? Thank you

Given an Evo VIII, on pump gas and the stock turbo, 29# is unsafe under most circumstances.

You'll most likely have to research the archives with refererence to porting(enlarging) the merge hole on aftermarket, tubular O2 housings. The operation could be done by only removing the DP while the O2 housing is left mounted on the car, I think. Enlarge the merge hole to the diameter of a golf ball at least.

You sir have some material to grind off. Until then i assume you have a MBC/EBC just turn it down a bit and you should be fine for now.
