They do help. A couple of years ago David Buschur used a Cheapo Ebay unit and picked up 15WHP on his race car. Also Evo Power Mods makes a KILLER Piece, one I use, it is an Open Dump, lets all the exhaust gas right out of the car.

Look at this bad boy. I run this and it rules.

Can't beat the Megan/Buschur unit. The Buschur is basically just a coated Megan aka "good" eBay version. They fit well, are durable, and make power, plus they're not loud and obnoxious like these dumps that are all the rage right now.

We have the Megan units for $99 here:

The coating is a waste of money.

yes.

it's all about reducing backpressure on turbo cars. especially as close to the turbo as possible.

the invidia o2 housing has a larger i.d. feeding the dp than a megan style o2 housing. invidia = ~2.820" / megan style = ~2.460"
someone in san diego; on 91 octane, went from a megan style o2 to a invidia o2 & picked up 8 whp from 5k-7500.

Any O2 housing that utilizes a stock location downpipe has to neck down to 2.5" at the mating point. The only full 3" solution can be found here, however performance gains will likely be negligible on the stock turbocharger. Upgraded stock location turbochargers are a different story

Also, we offer the Megan Racing unit for just $109.99 shipped, and we guarantee the best pricing on this unit if you are somehow able to find it for less

I had basically all bolts ons including cams. I went ahead and put a. ebay 02 on and it gave the car even more grunt.

Def worth the $99.

The Invidia O2 housing design is flawed. The divider wall between the wastegate dump and the turbine outlet is just a flat wall of metal that increases turbulence and decreased efficiency.

We have dynotested the Megan O2 housing to be the leader in tubular O2 housings.

We have a special this week on them for $75.
