Which OEM oil filter should I use from now on?

Which OEM oil filter should I use from now on?

OK, both filters are OEM and both work just fine. What I really want to know is if there is any kind of difference performance wise. Like how Honda makes a small performance filter so that VTEC can kick in harder. Pretty much, which would be better to use from now on.

the shorty... im afraid that the large one could be hit by some debris... also the shorty covers the whole base when you install it.... more peace of mind...

Awesome, thanks guys. My local dealership gave me the tall one and said they use it on Evos all the time.

The Short one is for Evos. The long one for Lancers. If your dealership doesn't know that, or is lying to you, I wouldn't be going back to them.
