Next Upgrade for Summer 2010, Crap Octane here!
Hey Guys,
So heres the deal. Im starting to plan for next summer cause i wanna get my finances in order so i can allocate money for my modding. Ive been reading the board and I'm starting to get confused to what direction i should go.
Here's a quick summary.
CURRENT MODS:
- TBE
- HALLMAN BOOST CONTROLLER
- ETS LICP
- BUSCHUR CONE FILTER
- ACT CLUTCH
- WIDEBAND
- BOOST GAUGE.
- TUNE
POWER GOALS:
A RELIABLE 400 HP
Now the situation:
I dunno which route to go, i was gonna go FP Red but then people are telling me that you only see the potential with E85 and in Canada we dont have E85! Also our octane is kinda crappy up here. I also want good driveability too!
I was gonna do Meth b/c I heard that helps in place of crappy octane buuuut i always hear about failed pumps, etc etc... only attractive thing is the fail safes there are.
What suggestions do you guys have?

CBRD BBK. Awesome results on pump gas, even crappy stuff. Pair it with a megan or buschur ss o2 housing and a ported exhaust manifold, then get re-tuned for it and you'll be very very happy (you'll need a walbro 255 fuel pump and some upgraded injectors to support this power level)!
you guys are going to run me out of turbos
LOL!
jk, thanks for recommending our product guys!
"go lancer go" if its something you are interested in, please pm me!

these turbo's as reliable as FPRed/Stock Turbo?
this gonna help me achieve this power no problem even with my octane issue, i have 94 octane so its not all bad.
