where to start first on my build.
Hey guys, im stuck with the decision on where to start first on my build. Right now i have the some basic bolt on's, ams icp, ams basic flash, tbe, intake system, aem true boost. Right now i have a fp red turbo in hand and have plans to cam up with a kelford 272 and going with the supertech dual spring kit. Im coming up on my 60,000 mile mark so a timing belt is due for change. so do yall think its best to start with cams and valve train work instead of the fp?

??? I guess you want pretty cam gears to show your friends ?
Also, I am not really sure why this thread is labeled where to start first on my build....I think your only question is whether you should replace the timing belt / do the 60K service at the same time you swap the cams. The answer is yes, since you are so close to 60K....
As for installing the Red, you'll need injectors, larger fuel pump, and a tune, so I'd wait and do it all at once - you'll need a tune after cams as well....

I would do the cams and Turbo at the same time if you already have both, unless your tuning is free, since I'm not changing stock rev I'm keeping all my stock components when putting in the kelford's. I only have 30k miles and I'm changing the timing belt. It just makes sense to start fresh.
The red will help out the cams on the higher end for sure though, I couldn't afford the red (and all necessary components, oil feed lines, injectors ect...) AND cams at the same time so I'm going with cams first.
Hope my little 9 turbo can spool 'em...
