i again call on the knowledge of EVOm

alright im out of ideas and looking for suggestions....

i cant get my passenger side driveshaft back through the hub. its about 3/4 of the way through and wont budge any further..
the hub sat open to the weather for a few months and it looks like theres a slight rust build up thats causing too much friction.

now i tried cleaning the inside of the hub out with pb blaster and a wire brush, i tried using c-clamps to try and pull the axle into the hub, tried hitting the back of axle through with a rubber mallot. nothing, it wont move.. theres maybe 6 threads sticking out on the outside but with this thing not moving im positive they would strip if i tightened the nut any more, so dont say crank on the nut.. its not an option.

heres what im thinking; im going to stick the splined end of the driveshaft into a cooler of dry ice to possibly shrink it just a little. im going to heat up the hub with a torch and then try and mate the two again...
anyone see any problems with this??

also if you have any other ideas/ suggestions please let me know.

thanks in advance guys

I would try and pull the driver side out first. Try that in the passenger side see if that works in the hub.
