Boost is a lot less in 2nd gear comapred to 1st?

Hi guys,

I'm having an issue with my car. I have the Hallman Evolution MBC. In first gear it hits 20psi just fine. However, when I shift into 2nd and get on it, it just goes up to about 14 or 15psi. If anything, shouldnt the boost be higher in 2nd gear because of the increased load? Is there probably something wrong with my MBC? Any insight would be great. Thanks

yes, you should boost the same or more. Do a boost leak and compression test and report back when you have a less vague issue to diagnose.
