Boost gauge only reading 15psi **UPDATE**
Hello everyone.
Following my last post regarding a low psi boost reading (15psi)
I took off the catalytic converter this morning and found that all the stuff inside the catalytic converter were broken and covering the exhaust. I took all the broken stuff out of the catalytic converter and put the empty cat shell back.
Now the boost seems to go all the way to 19psi, but now the problem that the car has is that since it begins to build boost the car just hit like a fuel cut or something, almost all the boost range till 19psi. (Sorry for my bad explanation)
I checked the factory boost solenoid and found that the hose that goes to the factory boost solenoid doesnt have the boost pill that's suppose to go there. Could this be the problem?
Thanks in advance

Get the complete factory boost hose assembly for about $20.00 from the parts department at your local dealership. The assembly comes with precut hoses, the boost pills, the ¨T¨, and the clamps. Install this first and then report back.
EDIT....Incidentally, the part number for the hose assembly is 1632A117.

Thanks for the reply. Finally I think I had found the problem. The previous owner of the car put the wrong spark plugs. The spark plugs were PFR6J. Here's a picture of them
So I installed a set of NGK BPR7ES and the car runs fine now. I couldn't get the OEM iridium plugs locally even the BPR7ES was difficult to find locally. The only place I found them were at a local Autozone store and even there I had to wait one day for them to get the spark plugs from another store here in PR because they didn't had them in stock
So resuming about the boost problem were two factors.
-Clogged Catalytic converter
-Wrong spark plugs.
The car is getting 21psi and no surging.
Thanks for the help, this is a great forum.
