Lots of oil in my coolant......

Long story short my car was at Buschur in May to be troubleshot and fixed.....ending up getting the car back with a rebuilt head and unknown to me until 4 months later the end of my crank was worn causing all sorts of issues shortly after I got it back.....which leads me to this.....

I recently pulled the entire drivetrain to rebuild everything and come to find out my coolant is full of oil, directly out of the radiator....oilpan was clean no signs of oil.....I have not started into the motor yet but im curious as to what the issue could be?....I just want to make sure I take care of this issue while the car down and everything is out.....thanks

Usually coolant + oil = Blown Headgasket

Most likely the headgasket.

I doubt buschur would have given you back the evo with a blown headgasket or one that didnt seal properly.

Oil in the coolant means that the headgasket is most likely blown and oil is seeping into the coolant flowing through the motor...

after my experiece at said shop nothing is impossible....

blown headgasket was my first thought but there were no other symptoms....I will find out soon, I am just looking for some insight....I would say the car had 5-6k miles put on it since it left there but the car was back twice and problems were never taken care of....I dont trust anyone after my experience there, including being told that they wouldnt work on my car anymore anyways because it was too much of a mess the first time it was in there.....

Shops refusing work happens all the time man. I have a couple buddys in my area that own shops and will refuse work depending on the state of the car, customer attitude, exceeded expectations (meaning they want everything for nothing)

Im not defending the shop you mentioned. I have never been there but shops refusing work for the above mentioned happens all the time and to be honest I'd do the same thing

look forward to a review in the future....them (Buschur Automotive) refusing to do more work has only little to do with it (I would never have anything else done there, even if it were offered free of charge)...how would you feel if you took your car to a shop for a troubleshoot and fix and you get it back "fixed" only to find out 4 months later important information was never dislcosed and your car is far from fixed, not to mention that big bill and all the time involved in the whole ordeal....dishonesty and lack of work ethic has everything to do with it.....

bottom line I just want to make sure this time around everything is done right hence my initial post....thanks guys

I agree if a shop does work on your car they should finish what they start and def not give a car back incomplete

I suspect there are two sides to this story.. regardless, oil in the radiator is generally caused by a blown headgasket. since you're not getting oil in the pan, check for evidence around the high-pressure passage(s) to the head. there is a slight possibility that the bearing housing on the turbo is cracked and allowing the crossover there, but that is extremely rare.
