missing at idle and wants to die when heater or ac is turned on

My buddies 04 is acting up and has been for awhile. It was backfiring and idling funny for awhile almost like a miss or as if the timing is being advanced then retarded. Finally it threw a code for the crankposition sensor then two weeks later died all together. Replaced the sensor starts now but does the same weired idle. If you go to turn the heater on or the ac it drops idle and wants to die. Stock turbo, full three inch exhaust and an air intake. Any ideas?
Even tried resetting ECM
