My 2.3 FP red setup Jestr tune

Well first off I have to thank Jerry AKA 94Awdcoupe for help with the build and install of the motor if it wasnt for him none of this would be possible. Ive been wanting to start road racing/Time attack for a little while and having an Evo works out well lol so after a couple motor failures I decided to get some help from someone with experience and then I started talking to Jerry about the 2.2 motor he had for sale. After agreeing on some options I trailered the car to him where he helped pull the motor and install the new 2.2 block. After the install all was well and I had a HTA 35r on the car ready for a tune so we thought. After pulling the spark plugs and noticing that cylinder 4 was darker and looked like it was burning oil so Jerry set out to find the problem. Turns out the c clip on the wrist pin some how came out and piston was no good and block was messed up. So after being bummed Jerry called me and told me that he could rebuild the 2.2 but it would take a long time being they were custom pistons but that he could build me a 2.3 in half the time at his cost so I thought about it and said sounds like a plan lets do it. Well after that I decided to get rid of the 35r setup and go with a FP red setup instead thinking it would be way better for the track. So a couple weeks later here we are with my 2.3 stroker and FP red setup and let me tell it is awsome. Just got home from a Jestr tune and just stoked the car made 460/380 awhp/awt on 93 oct pump gas. The car is so much fun to drive and I cant wait to hit the track. Cant thank Jerry AKA 94Awdcoupe and Jestr without them none of this would be possible thanks guys I appreciate it alot

Sounds good man. Enjoy. Could a 2.3/FP Red car make it stoplight to stoplight faster than a 2.3 with the only difference being a 35R hta?

wow that is amazing.
is that in top gear? or do you have similar response in lower gears?
my car makes full boost at 4000rpm with the FP Red in 5th, but 2nd is more like 5000rpm.
Rolling start, when would you have full boost in 1st gear?
Can't wait to build a setup like this myself

Cheers, Mike
