had gotten the car down to a 12.34 @ 112. made a few changes, she's ready to go 11's


-100% stock internal JDM B18b
-Evo 8 TD05H 16g
-custom twin scroll B Series to Evo header
-Forge Motorsport internal wastegate
-ProSport MBC
-Precision 440cc injectors
-Walbro 255 fuel pump
-Hondata 4 bar map
-3" Downpipe to 3" straight pipe
-Go-Autoworks Intercooler Piping
-Spearco FMIC
-HKS SQV 3 BOV
-TPR catch can kit
-Moroso street/strip oil pan
-Blox oil adapter/sandwich plate
-Treadstone vacuum block
-Neukin radiator w/ slimfan.com
-Hasport mounts w/ U70A bushings

-GSR tranny w/ 98' Spec Type R LSD and 4.785 final drive
-Competition Clutch Stg 2


tuned by Blundar on eCtune
tuner said it literally spooled faster than anything he's ever had on the dyno. first pull with a random setting on the mbc it hit a 22psi boost-cut he had set @ 3600 rpms.

thread bump!


so from what i'm reading.. I can bolt up a 10.5 VIII, IX, or fp to my current o2 housing and manifold (VIII 9.8) without changing a bunch of stuff, right? water lines and intercooler piping aren't a problem, I just dont want to change my downpipe/header..

They'll bolt up to the manifold and o2 housing with no problems. They all share the same frame. I love your setup. I dont understand why people were getting nasty with you when you first started thus thread back then. It's just a turbo and you can get these things used for a really good price.(which you probably did).

Good stuff man. I can't wait to see what your car will do with a bigger turbo. . Keep it up!

i really dont need a bigger turbo now, I'm only pushing 15 psi out of this one. my injectors are close to maxed out and I'm right about at the safe limit for pump gas on a bone stock motor. by the end of the year my other motor will be done, gonna look for close to 500 with something i can just bolt on.. I'll **** bricks if it makes close to 500wtq too . It's already torque steer happy with 300ft.lbs @ 3900 rpms in a 2200 lb car w/ driver

the o2 housing is so tight to the block i actually had to grind out a notch


because it's so close and my downpipe is welded to it, when i tore the first flex pipe everything has to come out as one




the clapped out old girl.. getting bodywork/paint this spring

track opened today.. with little to none as far as track prep and a nice gusty head wind.. she still did pretty good. had a best of 12.3 @ 116. 11's shouldn't be a problem with better conditions

Whats the best turbo if i want to keep stock set up like mani n such, i guess it would be called a bolt on turbo.
