WOT in the Cold

Well im from PA and was wondering.. Is it bad to floor your car when it is 10-32 degrees out? I have a MBC so i make sure i do not over boost..

double check your boost limit table, with the cold you could hit the limit sooner.

Yes, thats because when its cold it will boost more (overboost). But he said he has a MBC to adjust (lower) the boost if needed, therefore he doesnt need to mess with the boost limit table (unless he doesnt wanna run less boost).

And like Evoryder said, always wait for your car to be warmed up before boosting

watch your boost gauge and make sure to not overboost...hitting boostcut sucks...and its a little scary...

I was just going to ask about that. After I got my e-mail flash I have started to get boost cut-off(overboost). I got passed by a mini van while my car was cutting out.

I will have to turn the boost down since my e-mail flash provider will not respond to my e-mails anymore???

I guess I gotta learn how to do it myself

Learn how to tune yourself. It's not that hard and you gain the knowledge for any future tweaks you want to do to your car.

its good to know but im not trying to blow up my motor.. reather just pay $350 to somone reather then paying 3,500 for a new motor
