the wrinkled parts were cut off as you can see in the photo where its bolted up to the downpipe... it is a true 3" exhaust all the way through there

One more thing to watch out for is that these turbos are touchy with oil pressures. dsmtuners.com has a 7 part thread about these on top of a grip of other informative threads;

the oil lines are correct since he is not running a restrictor in the line as most thought that was the way to go in the dsm world.

yeah man its finished and running great not tuned yet but gonna go back and change some things, some people are saying that since the hotside is divorced and its a single scroll mani that at high rpms the egts are gonan spike nasty so im prob just gonna cut away the division! and a few little detail things then its tune time

I have never seen that at all personally. I run the stock hotside with a single scroll mani and I actually run too rich at WOT. No spikes of any kind. I no longer have an EGT gauge but when I did there also wasn't anything like that going on.

bumo for new pics coming this weekend! car has been running great so far minus a small oil leak that will be fixed this weekend and will be grinding out the division to make it a single scroll turbo and get some new injectors and tune that baby!

I hear you on that turbo. My buddy has one on his sexy Galant VR4 all you chicago guys know who I'm talking about. It is a beast and is the loudest turbo I've ever heard. His car moves like no other. So I know yours will rock. Nice build and Keep posting up your results.

I think the 8 blade does something like 56 and the 7 blade flows 60.
