New to Mitsubishi build
New to Mitsubishi build
I picked up an evo ix last year coming from an all motor honda. The evo is stock as of now. I want to do a mild build for the spring but I want to do the build right and above all I want a reliable daily driver. I want to put down ~350-375whp. I just purchased a greddy ti-c turbo back exhaust. I want the build to be e-85 and what ever program I need to be able to switch maps so I can switch to 93 when needed. Also do I run straight e-85? I need some guadiance when it comes to parts. I am going to get my car tuned at AMS as soon as I get the parts/money together. Also I was thinking I was going to have most of these parts installed at AMS anybody have experience/suggestions? Finally, I do not want to worry about emissions, I live in Illinois and with my all motor honda I had a hard time passing. Will I have any problems. This is what I had in mind:
RC injectors 1000cc? (not sure how big I need to go or if I need a special kind for e-85)
o2 housing (not sure what brand yet. suggestions?)
walbro 255
lower and upper intercooler piping(need suggestions was looking at injen kit)
intake
wideband (thinking aem?)
boost controller (hallman pro?)
boost gauge
Thanks for your information/suggestions.

350-375whp could be accomplished without going to E85 on a dynojet with all bolt ons. I would go with a dual map. If you want to drive out of state or anywhere that E85 isn't available, you don't want to be stuck.
you could use the cobb to switch maps, from what ive seen its pretty user/tuner friendly. if AMS is going to tune you then i would give them a call to see what they use for stock ecu map switching..a top tuner shop like them will most definetly have a solution for you. on e85 350-375 is pretty easy to reach. 1000cc is the absolute minimum injectors u would want w/ e85. 1200 are prob good til about 500hp, 1600cc are even better. for ur power goals u may be reaching the limit of single fuel pump, so u may want to go with a double pump...it may sound agressive but its pretty common here. with those fuel upgrades and some bolt ons you will approach 400hp range on the stock turbo...just do ur research and prep ur engine/drivetrain properly, ull most likely be running ~30+/- psi which takes its toll...have fun

Called AMS and they said I'm going to need to get some sort of tuning software. Still trying to figure out if I want to pay the extra money to be able to switch between maps. Also I was looking at Cobb and they said ap was discontinued.
