I don't think that is from your clutch unless, it's in other areas around the bell housing as well. If something in your clutch let go bad enough to do that you would be able to tell there was something wrong with it.

That looks more like a stress crack from that mount being over loaded.

No, the pins were trapped between the clutch and the bellhousing... At 7500 rpm it's more than stress

The only thing missing were the pins of the flywheel, the clutch cover (pressure plate) have marks like something was hitting the cover as well as the bellhousing.

Good thing you caught your problem. I use to see that happen a lot in offroad vehicles. You would not want this to happen.

My vote for changing it That sucks man, who did the clutch install? Over torque on the bolts? dropped transmission? that's horrible man. Good Luck!

I did the clutch, did not drop the transmission, and did not overtorque the bolts. A friend works for Mitsu as a tec. and helped me.

You will have to change it or get it welded (that should be tricky ).... the bellhousing is a structural part keeping your engine in the car....it most likely also increasing stress on your layshaft out of the mission..I would not keep driving the vehicle unless you don't care if something else larger/more expensive breaks.

Most likely that is not a type of stress/fatigue fracture..... that outwards bump suggests something trying to come out of the bellhousing.... perhaps a rivit or something off the pressure plate, who knows.... just my speculation.
