Question Water temps (stock sized rad vs mini)

Currently, it's 21c over here, it usually gets really hot later in the year

I just put a hole into my stock radiator as the whole turbo setup was too close to the rad, I launched the car hard and the wastegate's screamer pipe hit the radiator,

I changed to a mini radiator yesterday with the same SPAL 12" puller fan I had, previously my water temps were 75-80c on the stock radiator with 2 fans, changing to the mini radiator with one spal puller fan my water temps were up to 92c

I got the arp splitter that goes all the way under the car and a greddy air diverter thing on top, trying to keep the air towards the IC and rad, So do I need more ducting towards the mini radiator ?

Should I change to the ralliart thermostat ?

Should I switch a more cfm fan maybe ?

92c was on a cool 20c day, when summer hits here again, I might overheat and this was at normal cruise speeds

ideas ?

Installed a new 3 row mini radiator because I can not fit the stock oem rad anymore after installed the 76mm turbo

water temps raise to 95c when I move and come down when I stop, Does anyone have pix of air ducts made to their evos to help force air through the radiator ?

What brand is your mini radiator? If its not a good one, contact cbrd for a nice solid mini radiator or a slim full size.

I used a koyo previosuly and it didn't work

I custom made one now, 3 rows, 55mm thick made outa copper with a SPAL puller fan and my temps go into the 90s when I move fast, as soon as I slow down It comes back to normal again

I have hard time fitting a full size rad now with a gt42r sized turbo ... a slim full size might work though

I want to know what ppl with mini radiators do for ducting ? I still have the ac and I'm not planning on cancelling it out in this heat

our full size slim offers more clearance than a stock rad at both the core and the tanks,

i prefer full size rads where they can fit!

cheers

Too bad I saw your post too late, I just installed a normal lancer's rad, It's the same dimensions except thinner, works perfect cooling wise !
