Trying to hit 10's on stock block this year. Running e 85.

Don't waste your money buy a big turbo and call it a day, cause your gonna get real bored of the black fast also u don't get the turning your stomach feeling like u would on a big turbo...If u had to do it all over i would buy a 6262 but im gonna buy it anyway u learn from your mistakes but they can hurt your wallet...

LOL funny Josh, just PMD ya back bud

My car used to run a T3 on stock block/head/ecu and put down 440hp on straight pump and almost 580on meth/pump
I personally would not do a stock frame turbo red/green/black unless i was just planning on being stealth.

Truth. Even then you bolt the T3 on and refuse to pop the hood. If you live in a state where things need to be stock appearing for emissions (i.e. Nazifornia), there are advantages to going with a Black.

go with the t3, the blacks are pretty fancy no lie there, but when the black and the t3 run out of steam are going to be two different points just like it was mentioned earlier. plus it cheaper to buy a whole new turbo in the future when you already have a manifold, etc. then try and sell a stock framed turbo and then buy a manifold, new dp etc.

hmm lots of fp black haters in this thread. it gets the job done but yea if your shooting for 600+whp then yup the T3 kit is the way to go. i love dding mine and keeping things reasonable so i dont start destroying other parts because of too much power but nothing wrong with the 600+ evo club just not for me.

Michael, do you have any turbo kits that will make 600hp for under 2500$?

Personally I have been planning to get a black, run e-85, get bigger cams and turn that boost way up. Of course I have a 9 turbo sitting here, getting injectors soon, and I have most other supporting mods.

No one is hating but in reality the stock frame turbo's are weak when u compare to a bigger frame turbo...I have a red and im making good power but if i had to do it agin i would have bought a 35 r or 6262 ball bearing kit..not a journal bearing like the red ...When i went for a ride in my friends built 6262 evo i was sold...
