Twinscroll Update - Sierra Sierra Time attack Evo + Philthy's 2.3L twinscroll 4088R (

1) Sierra Sierra evo8 putting the Full-Race twinscroll through its paces during a practice session at Buttonwillow:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7zsHa...layer_embedded

2) A hardcore Subaru customer of ours has a Full-Race twinscroll 40R turbokit on his daily driven (literally) built STI. He loves the spool, response and power but wanted to do a similar build to an Evo. He bought a low mileage evo8 from a close friend of ours, and decided to stay with the twinscroll turbokit to retain good spool and quick response, yet still looking for 700+HP. He used a simple but intelligent build with a top notch parts list. The first day of 93octane pump gas tuning was very impressive... resulting in 641whp/526tq

^^from the dyno

^^ the AEM log

As a fellow GT4088 owner myself I am impressed with the results once again. Did you post the boost somewhere. I was unable to find it.

Going over the list we have just a few parts slightly different but for the most part they are identical.

Congrats.

The AEM logo and the corresponding dyno chart were posted by Geoff - 27psi...

Jeff Evans and I agreed, 640whp is more than enough for 93 octane pump gas... Race gas tune and more boost should happen in a week or two...
