can't boost over 1.3 bar!!!

Can't get over 1.3 bar!
My mods are HKS EVC V, Forge BOV, HKS wastegate actuator and Tomei ECU. I have turn the boost knob on the EVC to max. position but still only getting 1.3 bar and tapper off to 1.2 bar. WTF
Does the ECU still have control over the boost even with EBC installed?

I had the same problem on my 8 w/ my profec-b i had to turns the sharpness up...... that helped a little ....... i was told that this problem is being caused because the turbo is twin scroll..... jus my 2 cents
Someone tell me what 1.2-1.3 is, I am american and lazy too.
What are you using for the vacuum source for the EVC?
Boost setting is generally an addtion to the stock wastegate stting. IE 12 psi wastegate add 50% on the EVC and you have 18 psi of boost. If you are at 100% then it is not doing anything as far as boost control. Do you get the same boost reading with the EVC at 0%?

i believe 1 bar=14.5 psi, your usdm evo are 1.3 bar stock. jdm evo are 1.05 bar stock.
I talk to a few garages today, they said 1.2 bar is the efficiency limit for stock exhaust, things will start getting too hot if I go higher than 1.3

does the evc have an auto learn mode? On my SBC, if I have it set on auto, i can only boost like 12psi or so... I need to turn it on manual mode to boost any higher... Dont know if that helped sorry
Make sure your BOV isnt leaking! That may be causing your boost to leak. Might want to try tightening the valve. Also, make sure all your connections are tight and you dont have any vac leaks. Check the inline filters too.

Yeah, i was about to say....
It's manual. An auto one is something like the Blitz or the GReddy e-01. The HKS EVC 5 is a EBC with a manual adjustment. You floor it in 4th gear and tweak the knobs until you get your desired boost level.

Sigh, OK it's not that simple on the EVC V. I assume you are using the psi version which has additional features.
Basically, you have a start duty (defaults to 100%; max spoolup speed) which you run up to a start boost level (usually about 2~3 psi below target boost level). It will hold 100% duty to that level and then taper the duty cycle down to your "set" level which is what should equate to your boost level. I'm running off of memory here; someone has any problems with the EVC V, call me while at the box so I can refresh my memory and I'll tell you exactly how to get it dialed in.
