clutch problems

ok so my car just started to do this today, not a progressive thing just out of the blue. i tried to pull out of my garage and the clutch felt wierd. when i step on the pedal i have perfect pressure for like 2pumps and then it sinks to the floor, but if i pick it back up by hand it hold perfect pressure agian for 2 or 3 more pumps and then sinks to the floor again. the car starts fine and will shift fine in every gear except every 2 or 3 pumps ill have to pick the pedal back up manualy, it appears to have a small leak in the slave cylinder from what i can see from under the car, but would this cause it to do that, or does it sound more like the master cylinder, im going to replace the slave anyways because of the leak, but do you think i need to replace the master as well.
any input would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

how would you check the master clyinder? i might not be right but isnt the purpose of the master to produce clutch pressure, the pedal isnt spongy, either way im replacing the slave cylinder tomorrow and will find out for sure if its somthing else as well.
thanks
