Do a 274/280 combo. You will still have great spool and better topend

already have s2's. i saw one guy with a 2.3 4088r that swapped from some crappy 272's to some 288's and he lost spool and didnt gain any worthwhile power.

^ Ya sometimes their is a two big mark. The 274/280 should work out great. I'm running 272/280s and I spool at 3600 and my power holds all the way to redline on a FP Red at the 540hp mark. I really think the 280 exhaust cam help the turbo breath in higher rpms.

xRogue,
Have you tried retarding your cam timing yet? I would try that before swapping cams. Have you played with your LSA?

nope and nope lol

I think I am going to find a good set of adjustable cam gears for the bf272's tho. However david still stresses that their cams perform best when installed at 0-0

Did you degree the cams when you installed them?

If not how do you know that your cams are installed with the correct IVO, IVC, EVO, EVC?

Couldnt answer any of that. Dropped the car off at buschurs - picked it up 10 days later running..

I know its running stock cam gears though.

Can we get a parts list, and a boost graph. it seems the turbo may be to small for your setup and it cant hold the boost to redline, where it actualy starts to fall off at 6k rpm.
