question about tranny and tcase

Hey I’m really new to mitsu world. I went from Honda to an evo 8. My thing is I needed tranny fluid and tcase fluid. My parts dept order me Castro fluid from bennet 75w-90 full synthetic for both tranny and tcase. I don't drive the car allot and the cars not going in to boost yet. It’s missing piping. But I’ve been driving the car around and now I hear a crazy whining noise. I was told it’s the tcase. Now I was also told that the fluid that I put in was completely wrong for the tcase if I was to flush it out with OEM diaqueen do you think the whine will go away. I put less than 40 miles on the car the car never whined before

oh yea i tried ordering mitsu fluid at first but the parts dept was acting like asses

Only one way to find out. Some have had the noise disappear once they put in fresh diaqueen so there's still hope. You put the same castrol fluid in your gearbox too or just the tcase and rear diff?

Just drained out the tcase fluid is dark grey. I was feeling the fluid didn't feel rough like metal flakes, but it looks like fine metal so fine I can't feel it. Oh well hot some diaqueen coming. If it stops the whine great if not sheptrans here I come
