Turboback exhaust installation question

is it possible to install a turboback exhaust and reverse back to stock without showing signs of the aftermarket exhaust being on there. I'm asking because if i had warranty work done i want to put back the stock one and they won't know if the aftermarket was there Flame on

are the bolts easy to take off or it's a bia? I'm putting an aftermarket exhaust before I do a flash.

I dont see why there would be a problem

Probabaly if you get on like RMR that bolts together it will make it a lot easier to take on and off

But i dont think the dealer would think much of it though

yes, not a problem. But aftermaket exhaust hang with hangers instead of bolts, so keep all the pieces.

i guess i need to be careful of unbolting the bolts, of course. one of the service manager saw my car jacked up in front of my friends house and ask what I was doing, i told him i was changing the tranny oil and what not. so i guess i better be careful. i got eyes on me

You need to work on the car somewhere your service manager won't see it.. LOL

But yeah, you can swap the exhaust system in under 2 hours if you save all the hardware.. Its a bit of a pain in your driveway, but its not that tough.. I've swapped mine out once already since it was installed.. (I just broke a hanger on my current 3" setup which I have to weld tomorrow)

THe weird part is the difference in the car's performance, its really blatant when you can swap out a boost controller, S-Afc and exhaust in a few hours and drive the car "As stock" (Stock as I can get, it has an aftermarket air filter..) All of my mods are modular.

i need to delete this thread then, because he might see it.

i want to fully utilize the flash so i won't have to re-flash again and waste more money. I'm not planning on anything big yet so these options are good enough until im richer and be able to buy more cars. this is my daily drive for now.

I don't think it matters how careful you are or not. If you look at almost all the bolts under the hood, they are marked. They're all marked for a reason. That reason would be so they can tell if they have been turned or not. Also, you put stress marks on the bolts when you tighten and loosen them. If your dealer really wanted to be a dick, they could void it due to modification.
