As I recall I need from reading the installation instructions;
I need four connections?

12v Power
12v Switched
ground
and something else dont remember or I could be wrong.

Anyway Ive read some other posts stating that they used the 12v switched from the lighting on the cigerette lighter.

Is this correct?
Ive always tapped the power going to the cigerrete lighter since this is switched;

and is there a fourth connection or am i just crazy?

Use the stock clock harness. all 4 wires are there. Check with a test light for whats what.

Tap wires and make a harness.

That's what I did 6mo no problem. Did this for two years on my WRX as well.

Go to Project evo on this site, it tells you where to find all 4 wires on the last page, along with the colors of the wires

I didnt know there was an illumination one as well.
