Cometic or Oem HG??

Curious to know what you use for a new head gasket?
Let me know what ya think about between cometic or a Oem replacement..

I used an OEM when I had my head off ages ago. As far as cometic I haven't heard anything good in the 4G63 world

Wow I started to read some cometic reviews and they are not good at all...
Anyone runnin a cometic hg that wants to chime in??

search, there's a thread on here that compares headgaskets. I say go with cosworth or hks. I heard people say cosmetic wasn't sealing right.

I saw the post where they did the test..And that was like in 2005 or something. Maybe they are better now thats why I ask...

OEM....all day long. If you're exceeding the limits of the OEM headgasket, you should be looking into o-ringing the deck. Case-in-point, the OEM will hold up to just about anything you could throw at any other headgasket by itself.
