Stock turbo inlet size

I'm making a boost leak tester at work right now, but I forgot to measure the O.D. of my compressor inlet before I left the house and my car is at home. I searched the how to section and found a couple different write-ups, but none confirm the actual size of the O.D. for a stock evo 8/9 turbo compressor inlet.

Would anybody know this off the top of their head?

Affirmative! I just went out to the shed and measured the compressor housing's inlet OD at 2.5".

No problem. FYI, Personally, I tend to favor a pint of The Mendocino Brewing Company's "Eye of the Hawk" Ale(hint-hint). It is validated at over 8.0% alcohol content. Of course, any equally robust and flavourful brew will suffice. TK & LOL.

Tested it today. 20psi.

Shaft seals are slightly leaking, nothing major. when the throttle is opened in any position, it stops. However, the stock plastic compressor by-pass valve leaks a good bit.

looks like it's shaft seals and a replacement CBV. I've been out of the BOV game for years. any suggestions?

Synapse is the best bov if you plan to stay recirc. If you decide to do speed density then I would get the TurboSmart RacePort 50mm or the Tial 50mm.
