Transmission Problem Expert help please!!!

First off I will say that i work for Firestone I have been a technician for 5yrs, Im not expert but im not an idiot.. So I recently bought an 04 VIII, 70k on it. From what i can see the car is pretty well taken care of although i bought it from a dealer so I don't know all the details except the carfax and what i can see. What i see is a injen cold air with a MAf housing , Megan cat back,XS power inter-cooler,Aem tru-boost gauge/ boost controller and tephra mod.........................So my problem is when i got the car I had a really stiff clutch pedal (don't know if it has after market clutch however the flywheel cover is missing so it is a possibility) clutch feels great grabs doesn't slip but the other day after a high speed roll my slave just gave out. Pedal soft i limped it home, got under it and my slave cylinder was wet so i bled it and my pedal came back and was stiff just like before. I figured the seals blew so i replaced it. Once i replaced it my pedal came back but it was never like it was before, clutch works perfect. Now the new slave is acting up and is leaking, I know it has an hydraulic issue. My questions are 1# I have heard of this happening but never a fix Does anybody have a fix for this???? 2# In a hydraulic system no matter what clutch is in the car the pedal should always feel the same because the hydraulic system never changes, right???? if thats true was my stiff pedal a sign of the slave going bad??
Symptoms are
#1 leaking slave cylinder
#2 soft pedal / does not come up as high
#3 pedal on floor, will not go into reverse until the pedal comes up a little

sorry so many words but i didn't wanna leave anything out please help.
thanks
