The really is some crappy luck man. I think you know what I've been through with my build also. Take this for what it is, a simple opinion from someone with approximately the same experience and 12 months of down time. If I were you, I would keep the evo, buy a stock transfer case from someone, and see if you can't part out the broken one. Have the stock case thrown in by a shop, and get back to enjoying the car.

The second time my new motor blew a headgasket (at 500 miles) I was ready to take a sledge hammer to the hood or sell the car on the spot. Now that Evo Dynamics has fully rebuilt and reassembled everything, the car is running in tip top shape. I have a grin on my face every single time I drive the car from the time I start her up until the time I get to where I am going. I remember exactly why I bought the car. Maybe you will too.

Wow man I'm really sorry to hear about your bad luck before I got my evo I had a swapped 2002 WRX and I was in a similar situation every time I would spend large amounts on repairs something else would go, I spent many months at a time without a car but hoped it would worth it in the end, that car made me cry MULTIPLE times. Sorry for the rant but I can really relate, but trust me man even though you might not understand it EVERYTHING happens for a reason. I genuinely wish you the best of luck, If you were local I would buy you a

I may try selling it as is. But I've made up my mind I'm def. not keeping the car. The third block is in the car now, 4 sets of internals, the head has had to be gone through 3 different times, the clutch has came apart, the waterpump was installed wrong and failed, the tensioner was installed wrong and had to be replaced, along with pulleys, the crank sensor had to be replaced, and now this. I have had nothing but problems with most of the shops (save a few that have been great!).

I have owned this car for almost 2 years, and I have driven it maybe a total of 3-4k miles, most of which was driving the car home from VA, and then driving the car home from KS.

I'll be graduating sometime this summer, and then I'll have a whole new wave of bills, and I still haven't found full time employment yet, so this is one less thing I will have hanging over my head.

Nickie if you are up to it PM me what happened. I've had a LOT of issues as well. My car is currently at spec-ops. Trans is at Shep to make sure everything is ok. I'm almost at the end of my rope with this car.

I'm truly sorry to here the car has finally broke you. Most would've given up halfway thru what you went thru. You have perseverance my friend.

I'm sorry man.

Bringing this from the dead. I've had 3 cars since selling this one, and am looking at getting back into it. Anyone possibly have any info on my old car? Don't know if the guy that bought it is on the forums, or if anyone from English Racing knows?

I'm going to try and look up his info from email correspondence...
