Shifter suddenly sluggish
Shifter suddenly sluggish
I had my clutch replaced with an exedy sd twin a few thousand miles ago, but lately the shifting, which has been beautiful, felt like peanut butter. Its really tough to go from 1-2 and 2-3 but the rest are fine.
Also, my pedal engagement for the new clutch in at the very very very top. What's that all about?
BTW, I searched, I failed.

Thanks for responding. It has Buschur metal shifter bushings and is the standard style, pull I think. I just got the Buschur fork stopper in the mail, what a pita it would be if it's the tob.
Was there a solution to this problem?
I just installed my Exedy Twin and it engages perfectly but my shifter is so notcy and hard to get in to gear. I am going to try some grease in hopes this will fix the issue.

wd40 is a temporary solution as it doesnt stand up well to engine heat and is fairly a thin lube. i'd still go through the trouble of removing your aftermarket shift bushings and lubing them up well.
