AEM wideband install

I know you generally want to have the sensor pointed slightly up so condensation will drain out of it but I already have a bung that is not being used in my my downpipe that places the sensor perfectly level. do you guys really think I need to remove the downpipe and add a bung??? i have a welder but a drill of that size is probly going to involve calling several friends to find one. worth the hassle?

If it is at 3 or 9 o'clock position, I would say you are fine and just use it.

As said above it will be fine. as long as it's not angled down so moisture can rest on the tip

at or above 3 or 9 is fine and should not be a problem being level.
