P0300 Misfire Help

Got my car tuned at a REAL shop. This code showed up on my way home. I didn't notice any stutter at all. Just threw the code. I was told it's touchy and my Twin Plate clutch could even be setting it off. It was recommended to remove the P0300 check and be done with it.

Well if the stutter is caused by the sensor being tripped by nothing then I will have to buy a laptop and get the software and disable it cause its a two hour drive to an awd dyno for me.

So if i disable the P0300 code, what kind of warning will i get if it actually develop a misfire and knock?

Jus wonderin, but could it also be your RPM in 5th, not the speed itself. Mine did it between 2.5-4k rpm

Well the rpm is relative to the speed itself. 65-80mph is about 2500-3500 rpms. So saying speed and rpms are basically the same thing if you mention which gear.

get it tuned n get the p0300 code disabled i have an 03, had that until i got it turned off, no p0300 since then n i was tuned almost a year and a half ago and 14k miles ago.....u dont need the p0300 code to be active, the p0301 is for cyl#1, p0302 is for cyl#2, p0303 is for cyl#3, and p0304 is for cyl#4, just make sure to take it to a shop who knows what there doing.....

Think that's what I will do...did you actualy get a misfire tho?

ok so i have had the same problem for a year now.. Nobody has ever been able to help me. It does not matter what gear im in.. Its happened in 1st before.. I had somebody disable the code with evoscan but im not sure they disabled it because it flashed on on the way home.. Im also tuned and that def didnt solve the problem I have spent way to much money to get this problem fixed for it not to be fixed so PLEASE help me!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!

im at the point where i have to get an inspection and cant so im debating sellin it and i really dont want to sell her!!

I had this issue and I disabled the code about a month ago and haven't had an issue since and I was getting it often because of my clutch

I'm having the same exact problem and mine happens in just about every gear i get on it a little and it stutters i let off and its gone i've replaced plugs wires crank sensor cam sensor and everything and it still occurs it drives me nuts. Mine is pretty much stock has a 3" turbo back exhaust stage 1 clutch k&n air filter stock turbo running 21psi a go fast bits Bov recirculated and everything else is stock. So any helpful info would be greatly appreciated!!
