Evo IV Not Geting full power

just got my car back yesterday as it was off the road for four months so i took it for a drive everything was fine didnt boost it too much but when i did all was fine

today i took the car for a drive and was fine after a while when going onto boost it what give like a shudder where the engine was picking up but it was stuggling and there was a engine noise when this is happening i can feel the back wheels not getting enough power and they are kind of stuggling to move took it to a mechanic to check if it was my worst fear the diff i was given the okay and said the diffs fine

the cars is a evo IV and is running at 1 bar it is still running 1 bar when boosting sometimes it does it somestimes it doesnt what should i look out for i have tried to check the pipes but not done a detail check of all pipes

i reckon its something thats came loose as it does it sometimes and sometimes not

and is it usual for black smoke to come out i know that black smoke does come out when going fast but it seems a bit extra to me

just drove the car again when accelerating the car just judders its like struggling and is not giving the full power what could be the problem

the car sometimes starts shuddering under any acceleration over 3k when under nearly full throttle when slowly accelerating its fine some other times the car will boost

is that normal gapping for the spark plugs on an evo IV?

normally on a evo VIII/IX the gapping is around .26

i cant seem to pinpoint it as today most of the time it just shudders around unless on light throttle then all of a sudden it started running normal and boosting fine for about 5 mins and then went back to shuddering around
ive cleaned the air flow meter checked all the pipes
