Shouldn't leak from there?? That hole should have a screw in it which is used to adjust idle I believe?

make sure is not shaft seals, common issue. milspec seals resolved my issues in that area highly reccomend them.

i have them on order from milspec but this leak is different. Is this for the idle adjustment and if so can this seal be replaced easily?. This seal would be different from the shaft seals

Couldn't find a part through mitsu (for the evo). Only the full throttle body and the gasket.

May wanna try to get one used on here if it's not just the shaft seals.

Doing the shaft seals tommorow evening.

What is odd is I am holding and making boost fine, but I can still hear air leaking at this point. Curious to see if the leaking air here is acutllly impacting boost. I no that sounds counterintuitive. But the car is making boost fine with comparable load values to boot pressure on the logs.

Should be interesting. To the OP, I am having a hard time understand exact hole you are pointing at. You should circle in on the photo.

He's referring to the factory hole where the biss plug is(nice sized hole to the left of the "P". This should not be leaking, never heard of a leak there.
O.P have you pressure tested with soapy water? 99% of the time it's the shaft seals.

just called mitsu today i will get a new screw and o ring for the TB. Ill list part numbers when i get them. Everyone else should put soap down this hole also while doing the shaft seals. Im curious if there are more leaks out there. Messed up thing is my shaft seals were not leaking just the set screw o ring. Guess just my luck!

Take a look at these wonderful BISS screws:

One in the middle is new. The other two came off customer TB's.

This is why MIL.SPEC has been replacing the BISS screw in all new MIL.SPEC 65mm TB's for awhile

Don't know if that's the issue you're having, but I thought I'd throw it out there.
