Repairing Titanium Catback? Cost Effective?
Repairing Titanium Catback? Cost Effective?
So I was going to ask if it was possible but I'm sure it is, just not sure its cost effective.
Local guy is selling a Greddy Racing full Titanium Catback but its got a little crunch going on where the axle back attaches to the mid-pipe, if it were SS I'm sure it would be little trouble to fix but I'm not familar with titanium.
I don't have pictures but assuming it needs to be reformed on that particular part of the pipe. What are my options?

Welding titanium is a pain in the ***, and requires a special tool set and an experienced welder. Would probably save you some money if you can buy the system for next to nothing, but if he wants anything close to 50% original costs, just get an undamaged one..
