Evo 8 clutch help please..

I have a 03 Evo and about 560 miles ago i had a clutchmaster stage 1 clutch
put in and just recently here when you come to a stop and put it back in first
gear to take off its lugging the engine, even though i put gear shifter in
first its moving like its in a higher gear, the rpms move slow through 1
and 2 and then finally in third its back to normal. My cousin said it may
because of the high friction clutch, any thoughts? It just started happening
recently, it don't do it all the time but it does and it seems like if u kinda
put it in gear a little harder or try it couple times it works.

What do you mean by Lugging? Explain more. It could be your releasing the clutch at to low of a rpm

When I was finished putting in my new clutch I noticed taking off in first gear was a little shaky. (clutch grabs a lot more than oem) I just had to give it a little more rpms. After a while it should ease up. Is this what is going on with your car?

What I mean is after u come to a stop and want to take back off and u put shifter in first gear to do so sometimes it does not go into first its still in a higher gear.
