Is my clutch bad? HELP!
Its hard to describe so I'll list all the symptoms I've percieved.
1. It can start up without stalling in all gears even 5th. <<< I just don;t get this, has anyone ever seen anything like this?
2. It moves forward with no gas/ throttle to the pedal.
3. It drives but the rpms spaz out until about 4000 where it seems to "release" the clutch and give power to the transimision.
4. I originaly thought maybe it was improperly selecting gears because my rear cable bushing came off one time when I was driving it hard, I replaced it and everything was fine.
5. I really have no mods, I did remove the clutch restrictor pill and AP Stage one Perrin map but I brought everything to stock and rebled my lines after this started happening. I did install the works short throw shifter with the console and cable bushings.
6. I changed out my transmission fluid at 14,000 miles with the redline MTL/MT90 cocktail.
I am about to bring it in to the dealership, but if it's jsut the clutch then I will probably jus get that replaced with a performance one. I'm jus scared that I'm going to get some stupid dealership that just gives me some huge laundry list of expenses of things that "may" be wrong with it that isn;t covered under warranty.
