5 speed swap completed now my center console piece wont fit correctly
Had a 5 speed swap done, overall very happy with it. But I am very picky with how the center console piece, that has the shift boot fits. It looks all good and normal until the back of it, where the cup holders are. On the passenger side, it sticks up a little. If you go to press it in the slots, it does not stay. Has anyone experienced this. I guess there needs to be a little trimming done, to make this flush, but opinions and suggestions, is what I am looking for.

I am using all of the 6 speed, center console. After looking at my 6 speed shifter base, and then looking at my new 5 speed base. I noticed that it does look as if the 5 speed has the the shifter further back than the 6 speed. So this may be the problem. As far as it being installed wrong, I got it done at buschur, so you know it was done correctly. Does anyone have any other advice? There has to be a way around this, like trimming, or something,
